I first discovered yoga during college, but it wasn’t until I was living amidst the buzz of NYC in 2012 that I realized yoga was so much more than a physical practice. At the time, I was navigating the demands of a high-pressure sales job, and yoga became my sanctuary—a space to reconnect and breathe. In 2015 I completed my first teacher training with a simple goal for teaching: to help others feel as good as I did after a yoga class.

That initial training set my life on a beautiful new path, one rooted in self-healing, guiding others, and embracing a more holistic way of living. Since 2015, I have been leading yoga and meditation classes for individuals and groups, and remain deeply committed to being a lifelong student of yoga and wellness. Through continued study, I aim to share with my community the healing practices that have profoundly impacted my own life.

I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Holistic Clinical Counseling, further deepening my understanding of how mind-body practices can support emotional and mental well-being. This program enriches my approach as a teacher, helping me integrate therapeutic elements into my classes and connect more meaningfully with my students.

I hold certifications in a variety of disciplines, including a 200-hour classical vinyasa training in Philadelphia, a 300-hour classical hatha vinyasa training in Costa Rica, and a 100-hour yin yoga training in Portugal. These experiences have allowed me to learn from an incredible global network of teachers and practitioners. I received my Reiki II certification in 2016 in Southwest Florida, where I also taught yoga, planned events, and supported studio marketing efforts.

I am especially passionate about introducing yoga to people who think they "could never do yoga" because I was once one of those people! I truly believe that stepping out of your comfort zone is the only way to expand it—and yoga provides the tools to navigate discomfort with grace and resilience.

In my teaching, I strive to encourage students not just to “do” yoga, but to truly live their yoga. I see the physical poses as a gateway to deeper connection: with our breath, our body, and our soul. Using calm and supportive guidance, I help students tune into their bodies’ needs, moving mindfully and with intention to honor those needs. This practice of listening—on the mat—creates a ripple effect, cultivating greater awareness and harmony in all aspects of life.

My wish for everyone is to feel more balanced, connected, and at peace, both on and off the mat. Let’s move, breathe, and grow together.
